Fans know Mariah Carey as a heartbreaker. But a firefighter?

Carey revealed on Twitter Monday that she stopped an electrical fire with a towel just before taking the stage in Egypt.

"In Egypt getting ready to go on stage and suddenly there was a surge of power and an electrical fire started under my feet!" she tweeted. "Wtf?!"

Carey added that her "emergency instincts" told her to suffocate the fire with a towel.

According to the songstress, a local radio station seemed to be in tune with the crisis and played the appropriate soundtrack.

"The funny thing about this ish [sic] is an ol'skool radio station in the other room started playing 'aww freak out!' @that exact moment!"

Carey is currently on tour in the Middle East. She recently performed against a backdrop of the Giza Pyramids.

my wife's brother just took a job in saudi arabia. he is short on cash & needs some money until he gets his first check. we've sent money to her family in the PI via western union & xoom. i went to both websites & saudi arabia isn't listed, as a country we can send to.

what company do we need to use to send him some money?

can it be set up for cash pick up?

what is the approximate time for the transfer to be completed? (15 min - 2 days etc.?)
