Since arriving here 2 weeks ago I have been ill....sore throat, cough, tightness in chest, eye infection and constant headache. I'm starting to wonder whether I am allergic to air conditioning but I've never heard of it before...of course it's been a manic 3 weeks and I could just be run down and can't fight American germs very well right now

Anybody have any experience of this?

I finally taught Luz how to drive and she is doing rather well with it. Well, now it's Robins turn. This is his 2nd time on the road. Of course Luz wanted a video of it. If you look when I show whats behind us you will see Luz's car. The new law in Illinois says he cannot have a passenger while he is learning so Luz followed us so she could see her son drive. He is doing well! And yes, he is driving my Mustang!

Obviously we all come to expats for our own personal reasons. What is your main purpose to come here?
